in the plane you will receive an immigration card. Please fill it up (for a stay longer than 21 days you need a visa - please, already arrange that at home with the local philippine embassy)

After passing the immigration desk you can rent a trolly for your baggage
(1 US$ or 40 PHP)

We will recommend you to change a small amount of money at the airport for paying the taxi and tips (REMARK: the currency rate may be very different from one to the other counter - please ask before changing)

In Ermita you will find a good money changer. It is called EDZEN (opposite of the supermarket "7 Eleven"). Up till now we always have made good experiences. (currency rate January 2008 = 1 US$ = 40,18 PHP).

With taxi from airport to "Ermita" (a part of Metro Manila - you will find i.e. the following mentioned  HOTEL FRENDY and PALM PLAZA Hotel) you will pay round about 400 - 500 PHP .

IIt  takes 20 minutes up to 2 hours to go from Ermita to North Harbour (depending on the traffic - ask the taxi driver) The fare rate is 300 PHP.

At the port you find PORTER with green t-shirts. They  assist you in carrying your baggage on board to the ship (tip: 100 - 300 PHP depends on number and weight of your luggage / approx. value: 50 PHP each piece).

If you inform us in time for your travel schedule we  make reservation for ship ticket at HENSON TRAVEL. After arrival in Manila you have only to pay and pick up your ticket. If not you have to arrange this part on your own directly at the North Harbour (sometimes it iis not so easy).
